I can't believe what I saw. I saw two 1980s Chevy Caprice cabs following each other on I-405. I am not kidding. I had dismissed something like this as impossible. One was yellow and the other was white with green lettering. I knew the 80s Caprice was a good car! Also folks, were talking right here in Los Angeles. In LA, there is a classic cult following among Latinos for 80s Caprices even wihout the club. LONG LIVE 80S CARS!!!
I am convinced some taxi company decided to put two 80s Caprices back in service. Thats THREE living 1980s taxis in full service I have seen in one year. I saw a Crown Vic yellow taxi last year on the freeway. Old cars don't die, they just fade and become scattered. Also saw rare classics in the rain today and ended up next to a 70s AMC Matador on the freeway.
