Neighborhood walk near office leads to rarest goldmine.

Postby 89ARIES » Tue Mar 23, 2010 12:26 am

Took a walk and ran into an extremely rare goldmine
of classics on Palora Ave. I actually saw parked with
renewed 2011 tags a 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 Sedan,
a 1973-1974 Ford LTD Sedan, 1973-1974 Ford Country
Squire Wagon, and 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Sedan.
There were also three other houses with classics under car
covers. The 4 cars above all run and are renewed. The 1980s
Oldsmobiles seem to be getting saved around here, thank goodness,
just not the K-cars. I saw two drive by. A really wonderful walk up to the
top of the hill. Will get photos of these cars for ya all
tommorrow. The 70s cars had some bad surface rust starting,
but they were original with original Cali plates. Two
streets over is the 76 Aspen Sedan that I saw driving
on the wrong side of the road. There is also ONE house
near my office with an 83 Thunderbird Coupe, 81 Olds Cutlass
Supreme 4dr, and an 85 Olds Delta 88, all parked together
and renewed. There is hope for the future of these cars. 8)
