Well, I saw a couple rare classics on the freeway today and yesterday.
Yesterday:
Dodge Daytona Shelby (Never saw one before) in immaculate shape going southbound. Mint and black.
1980s Lincoln Towncar Limosuine going northbound.
Today:
1983-1987 Ford Crown Victoria Wagon white going southbound on San Diego Freeway exactly simulatenously
with 80s Ford Crown Vic woody wagon going northbound on San Diego Freeway at same time.
1978 Chevy Caprice Coupe going southbound.
1984-1985 Dodge 600 Convertible yellow with tan top going southbound.
1980s Nissan Maxima Wagon going northbound,
It is really becoming extremely rare to see anything from the 80s driving around, let alone on the freeway. Yet, when traffic is heavy
on San Diego Freeway, I tend to see 2-3 80s cars moving out of a parade of 1000s of cars backed up 10 miles. This gives you an idea of just
how successfully gone forever the 80s car is now. But, at least the wagons are being saved.
