I Found Another Caravelle!!

in the beautiful suburbs of the low income housing residential area of calgary, there sits a 4 door caravelle in near mint condition, at least from what i could tell as i drove by. no pics yet, i will post some soon. for a reference, think of the 86 dodge 600 sedan and you get the idea of what it looks like. I am so nabbing this one for the club! in the meantime, here's a truck i found the other day for you to gaze at for a bit. alot of custom work done on her...

Good one. Its funny, but in So.Cal, where we only had the Caravelle from 85-88 as a 4dr body, I see them occasionally and way more than Dodge 600 sedans. Finally found a 600 sedan that I will post a pic of shortly. We also have in our club here locally an immaculate dark blue 85 Caravelle Sedan 2.2 Turbo. I was really surprised to see how your 86 Caravelle has LeBaron tailllights.

lol. It seems those tail lights is the big thing with my caravelle for you guys. I must admit, I am getting a kick out of it. I will be able to confirm the 4 door this sunday, hopefully. We shall see if the tail lights are like or different. Only then shall we know, sort of, if the tail lights on mine come standard, or were replacements from her previous owner

Yeah, and the 1983 Plymouth Caravelle Coupe Sales Brochure in Canada 100% completely neglects to include a photo of the taillights, lol.

I'd help out but even my dad say's he hasn't seen one around since the mid 90's my chances are slim where you seem to be having good luck, but here we use way too much salt in the winters.

Well Will, remember you told me we still have a remote link to an 83 Caravelle 2dr in that family whose member died. Also, I still have a link to one that appeared for sale in British Columbia in 2006. All we can do is continue searching....Proposal, lets do a one-page website on the "Forgotten Chrysler K-Car of Canada". We can build a registry with 3 names on it. Seriously, this car has been hunted unto oblivion. We need to follow any possible lead, if anything else, for historical preservation. It still floors me how little respect people ever had for these beautiful Caravelles. Very very sad indeed.
