More old gems

Postby nszotovich » Sat Oct 23, 2010 11:00 pm

In my travels today I saw:
A beautiful '63 Cadillac Eldorado (Medium Blue) with the top down.
A white '64 Lincoln Continental (White) 4-door convertible also with the top down.
A '58 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser (Tangerine) 2-door hardtop.
A '66 Dodge Charger (Medium Blue)

All this on a beautiful 77 degree(about24c) Fall day in Palm Springs
Tonight is cruise night- that can only bring more oldies out of their hiding places
News at eleven.

Awesome! How strange and random car spottings are. I had one weekend a month ago where I saw three Ford Fairmonts, a coupe, a sedan, and a wagon all driving on the road. I also ran into 3 driving Volares this month. 8)

I love those old Fairmonts. I used to have a Baby Blue Mercury Zephyr 4-door version of the Fox platform. That was sort of Fords K-car of the 70s. I loved it. I gave it to my brother who totaled it within a month. But that's my brother! I wish I still had every car I have ever owned. I loved them all. Especially my '61 Lincoln Continental which I cant afford to buy anymore.
