Here's a tip: find an independant garage thats been in business 15-20 years. A lot of mechanics from the "old school" (early simple computer control days) left dealerships and have there own places. Many of them know other mechanics in their "network", if you will. If the guy is over 50, present your situation and ask if he knows anyone who was formerly with Chrysler back in the day. To be honest, the dealerships today really don't have anybody left that knows the old stuff, and can't be bothered tying up a "technician" on a car their computers can't hook up to, let alone diagnose.....Good luck.
