2.5 L MOTOR / TRANSAXLE INTERCHANGEABLITY

Does anyone know if a 2.5 liter motor from a 91 Dodge Spirit is directly interchangeable into a 88 k car with a 2.5 liter motor . Also, what about manual shift transaxles for the same cars? Thanking you in advance for any information that you can provide.

it should the only thing different is the TBI and no fuel pump plate, and as for 5 speed, yes they will bolt right up

from doing a 86 600/89 Acclaim moter swap I can tell you you'll probably have to use the throttle body from your '88 as well as your power steering pump and some wiring will be diffrent. that was our exprence anyway
