89 Reliant Oil Light Keeps Comming On

umm there is only one oil light, the one at the top of the 3 little round lights is non functional

really....? So why did they put it there? I was wondering why it wasn't "illuminating" as the "oil can" light was when I turn the key

Was thinking maybe it was a "oil life" monitor of sorts...lol.


GATE yes, that's the bottom light.

In my 88 the top one says Oil, middle is the CEL, and the bottom "light" (which I don't think illuminates either....?) says "GATE" on it......but mine is just a 4 door sedan Not the wagon...hehe, don't think it illuminates with the trunk lid open.

The top light is"gate". That light probably comes on if the hatch is open if you have a wagon, lol.
