Installing BOV on 87 2.2 Turbo

Hey guys I JUST got this new yorker, and I know its not a K-Car ( I dont think) but it has the same engine, i just got it as a daily driver but figgered I would play with it some :) So I was wondering since the 88 cames with a BOV could I install one on this car?

No, you have a pull thru sys. The BOV is used on the blow thru sys. With you could do though is use a mechanical boost controller but don't go over 14 PSI as it will shut the motor do at 14.7 PSI. The puter will supply enough fuel at 14 but not over that. BUT !!!! If it's a high milage motor you'll have exsessive blowby and create oil leak from blowing out the old seals. If thats the case don't EVEN do any mods.

It has 100,000 miles not to bad i dont think. I pulled the valve cover and it looks clean
