battery keeps overcharging

Postby john » Sun Apr 13, 2008 4:07 pm

I have an 85 lebaron. 2.2 liter . I have a problem with the battery charging at 18volts. I replaced the computer twice. It worked fine for a month. then started overcharging. Could i be geting the wrong computer, or can somthing else be causing the computer to go out. There is not a voltage regulator. The computer regulates the voltage.

the over charging problem has been resoveled. It was a bad ground on the power module. which made the battery charge at 18 volts. and i dont know how to remove my problem from the tech. support section. thank you
