So which gasolene?

Dear all,

I was wondering if you could help me with another question - which gasolene should be used for these cars? Mine had the 2.2L engine originally but now has a 2.5L (?) from another Chrysler (I have no idea, would have to ask the previous owner as to where that engine came from, if it matters).

Here we have 95 (or 95E, whatever the difference) and 98, and then diesel and also this bio-fuel or whatever. Also have 92 and even 76 available perhaps at some gas stations, but those were used for the Soviet cars many years ago. I was wondering you can figure out how this converts to North American fuel and which should I use.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Irena
(still struggling but at least it's sort of running now!!)

I use 90 octane for my K-Car but using European RON octane system I would recommend 94-95 grade fuel because it is the closest comparable for North American fuels. It is a mid grade fuel where regular is what most people use but it will be better for your engine to use mid-grade 94-95 where you are located. As for the running you might want to have your fuel filter changed if you haven't already done so.
