If that is the case, all I'd have to do is modify the one section to fit the overhead console to make it work in my New Yorker.
That 1988 parts LeBaron that was supposed to be scrapped a month and a half ago is still there... If that will work, I will go and salvage that headboard tomorrow....

I had time today, and drove out there (about 40 minutes) and took some measurements. A K-body headboard is about 1.5" too short, and the location of the center light hole is 3" too far back.
So that answers my question. I wanted to post this just FYI.
