Feaux Paint

Postby Shakesbeare » Mon Jun 23, 2008 8:25 am

I saw an 83 Townand Country Convertible restored and the title feaux paint by it. Is there such a thing...I need to restore the molding on my side panels. While I am at it...did this car ever get 40 miles to the gallon as they claim...I haven't checked it yet.

I dont think they ever got that much. The most I get with my 83 T&C is about 20-25 at the most. I repainted my wood framing with paint from Home Depot. It's on the members message board. It looks pretty good. At least better then that faded framing.

I'm moving this one to technical support. They have more answers over there. Good luck.

painted mine with a light cream and when dry rubed a reduced black into the grain and wiped off excess it came out grate. You might want to use a dark brown instead but the black makes the grain pop
