radio presets 1985

I'm trying to set the radio presets on my new to me 1985 Chrysler LeBaron am/fm radio. Pushing and holding the preset button doesn't seem to work. Advice? I was able to set the clock fine. The buttons are am/fm, set, and the preset buttons. Plus there are two knobs.

The secret is the "Set" button. When you're on your radio station, press "Set", then press the button number you want that station to go to. Most radio models designate preset 1 and preset 2 for each of the five buttons. Pressing "Set" twice will go to the second preset station.

Most likely, u have the quartz lock precision lock radio, these radios are known for the buttons to not work as they get older, my eject button on my 1986 Reliant doesnt work, so all I do is turn the radio knob off and the cassette adapter for my I pod pops right out.
