Hi all,
I have a quick question...
on an 87 Chrysler with the digital dash is the odometer reading stored within the cluster or in the cars computer?
If I change the cluster will I need to reset the correct mileage or will my mileage pop up correctly from the computer????

Thanks!

Hello, newbie here...
I was wondering if there was ever a follow-up to this question. I have a 1986 LeBaron convertible Mark Cross with digital dash and the odometer just displays dashes (-----), so I can't tag it in my state (KY). No one can rebuild it because the chip has failed and I haven't had any luck finding a dash at salvage yards. So, if I just find a replacement dash, is the mileage stored in the computer, and replacing the dash and or odometer will correct the problem and pull the reading from the computer? Also, does anyone know where I can find a dash or at least a digital odometer?
