Helpful Information Needed

Postby Pete in NH » Thu Mar 29, 2012 1:34 pm

Hi Everyone,

There have been several recent postings looking for help with a problem that could have given the technical people here a better chance to answer the questions asked with more information. When you post a question about your car please give us as much infromation about the car as possible. It's really helpful to know YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE, TRANSMISSION TYPE, and OPTIONS, SUCH AS AIR CONDITIONING, POWER STEERING, TILT WHEEL, ETC.

This infornmation will help us answer questions more accurately and help you solve your issue more quickly.

Could one of the board adminisrators make this a sticky some where at the top of the technical section so it doesn't drift down the list.

Hi Guys well its convertible season so of course the car has a new issue. The drivers window is stuck down anyone know how to get it back up so we can find and replace the motor. Have tried manually lifting it and cant get it to move. Its a 1982 Dodge 400 convertible. The other side works so its not the fuse. Of course that would be the easy fix.I tried looking on you tube nothing there. The manual just says to move window up to replace motor. I hate to go back to a shop as it always ends up with crazy problems. Thanks Pat
