Window motor part 2

Postby mona's k » Sat Jul 21, 2012 1:42 am

Unlike yesdear my window isn't magically working again on my '82 Lebaron convertible.

No problems until today, went to put the driver's window up chattered a little then almost no movement (goes up maybe a 1/16"). I can hear the motor running. Took the door panel off and pulled the glass up by hand (quite easily) and when I move the switch motor runs but glass doesn't move. Any ideas what to look for? How to get to the motor/regulator assembly? Is there a pin or something that comes loose so the regulator and motor come unattached?

Thanks for the link-- now I just need to get the motor out, doesn't look like an easy job.
