What can make the fan control for the heat and A/C in a 90 lebaron fuse together. THis happened to me last year, and I don't want it to happen again. Is the hot air literally making the heater control so hot that it fuses together?

Failed blower motor resistor or an electrical short that is bring too much power to switch- make sure the fuse on the circuit is correctly sized- melted switch is probably too mich power in, rarely tho not impossible too much load
