Battery Hold Down Bolt

Hello,

My car was recently hit and I am in need of removing the battery hold down bolt. It seems as if the other side is in the frame and in accessible. If anyone has a suggestion on how to remove the bolt without damaging it or how to replace it, I would appreciate it. The bolt is rusted to the nut and spins.

Also could you point me to a thread that explains the removal and replacement of the bumper and header panel.

Thanks in advance,

Robert

I have figured out how to do this on my own. The following pictures should be of help to someone with the same issues.

this is one of the most difficult forums to post pictures I have ever had the pleasure of using.

What does this mean: Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.

Does it mean that no attachments are allowed or that something is wrong or an I doing something wrong?

Hi
I'm glad you got your bolt issue figured out....this attachment quota business has been brought to the attention of the webmaster (89 Aries)! Its bugged me too , as an illustration will help more than a pile of words hope he fixes it soon!!
How are the rest of your repairs going...

Sorry for the delay in my answer.

I was able to repair the battery tray. I purchased a plastic welder, as this was the perfect excuse to buy a new tool, welded it back together and reinforced it with a stainless steel plate. If I can find the pictures, I will post them.

My newest issue is I have no power coming from the fuse block for my radio. I am still working that issue and it is a separate post/thread.

Thanks for asking :)
