I'd be interested to see the fender tag. I don't think that could possibly be a factory paint job.

Not the correct color its been repainted, the only colors for these were, silver black and gun metal blue, also if you note you can see the black engine bay, I just sent the guy an email saying that hes the worst lier I have ever met special ordered my ass

I don't think its original either. However, I read somewhere that the K-cars could be purchased in different colors (a much wider range of colors than the ordinary colors that you mentioned) as part of a fleet purchase for at least some years of the K-car.

Fleet orders helped a lot with flexibility. If you ordered enough, Chrysler would do just about anything. CHP used to ask for all sorts of odd stuff.

The ad referred to the original owner "The Purple Lady". I looked it up and it is referring to Sonia Young, the "Purple lady" of Chattanooga, TN. Everything she wears, owns, even her toilet is purple.

My guess is she probably wanted a new purple car to replace her 1970 Purple Charger, and purchased the 600, and telling the Dealership she wanted it in "purple". Not factory paint, but, dealership paint! Thats my guess!

sharp car, did ya notice the back bumper does not line up with the body very well, looks like it is slightly pushed down.
