Not mine, no affiliation, but I know there's much love for early Ks around here and I can't recall the last time I saw one of this vintage.

Didn't need a new head, just a head gasket set. It's been fixed for months. Runs fine. If you want to buy it it'll cost a hell of a lot more than $300.

Well, the story I was told was that it was leaking oil out the front of the head all over the place, and the engine was nasty enough for me to believe it. No overheating fortunately. Old lady was original owner, she died and left to idiot son who drove it thru it's first two winters (hence the few specs of rust here and there), and then now me.

oh it needed a valve cover gasket.. thats a huge difference from a head gasket/heads cracked.. the 2.2s can survive without it just makes a oily engine lol

so it was a 20 dollar fix and 30 minutes of work

wow ok .. so a little more work then the valve cover gasket lol...

either way you got a sweet deal that is next to mint condition .. the back bumper and front grill and body looks prestige.. all the rest is just parts and fixable.. you got a good body u can make a million dollar car..

thanks for showing me that. hope i find a deal like that lol.. but the 83 is a little to old for me.. i like 86- 89 i prefer all 89s...
