saw that car days ago when it was first listed (i spend a lot of time searching craigslist).

if it had been a 4 door model with the exact same interior it would be on its way to maine by now to use as a donor for my wagon (sheet metal and bucket seats, etc)!

Is there a special reason that you want to rebuild your particular K car wagon. The autobody structural work is going to cost you a fortune if you don't do it all yourself. I can understand about upgrading the engine, etc. But from a financial standpoint I would think it would be far cheaper to find a relatively pristine Wagon from the South or West to use as a starting point.

Cars out here don't rust (Except next to the ocean), but they can get sun damage if not covered. Obviously this car looks well cared for.
