Really like this car. Not mint, but has a lovely patina and the red and white color scheme looks so sharp. What so you think? Needs some work, but definitely worth fixing up. It will make a nice, fun driver. Hope it goes to a good home.

I shouldn't look at this board... it makes me do bad things... (Yes, I'm the winning bidder)

Dodge Aries K: Congratulations! I think you made a great deal to get the car at that price. Send us some pics after you get it back on the road.

So I brought it home today. It needs a rear window pretty badly. The plastic one under all that tape is in sorry shape... so for now the top is down and the boot is on. Good enough for the time being.

But get this... I looked in the owner's manual and there's the original window sticker! Sweet! So then I look and there's the warranty book with the original owner's information on it. Neat, I thought. But then I checked the title... and it's a ONE OWNER CAR with a true 76,077 miles on it!

Already found the culprit brake line... will be fixing that in the near future too. Engine runs fantastic!

Sounds like you got a great car for really cheap money! So how much did it sell for new?

Brand new in 83 it was $10,832.00. One of the things I like about the thing is the chime box. It actually has three different "tones" depending on if the lights are on, key is in the ignition, or when it dings about the seat belt.

All right, brake line fixed! It'll see some pavement tomorrow and we'll see how it actually drives!
