1987 New Yorker Turbo

We are selling our grey 1987 Chrysler New Yorker with turbo engine. It is currently not in good driving condition but is fixable. The repair at the mechanic's shop that we brought it to would be around $1,100, and fixed the car is probably worth $2000. As we currently don't have the money for the repair and will get a family car soon, we decided to sell the car for $500 or best offer.

The usual specs:
- 180,000 miles
- new front brakes
- incredibly comfortable leather (like?) seats (you really have to try them to believe it)
- full digital dash board
- radio

What's wrong:
- small but manageable oil leak
- AC is not working any more
- It got hit a couple of weeks ago while parked which bent the rear axle assembly. That needs to be fully replaced in order to make it safe again. It still drives however and could be driven to its new home.
- The hit also left a little dent in the left rear door.

It is a great old car and would have easily gone another 50,000 miles if it hadn't been damaged. It would be a great car for somebody who likes to fix cars him/herself, or even as a parts car.

We got the New Yorker from my partner's grand parents, and they have owned it since 1989. It has been well taken care of and we could probably dig up documentation for most of the repairs done so far if necessary.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or would like to have a look at it.
