I have a 1986 Plymouth Reliant SE coupe for sale.
It has 39K original miles. It has been hit and repaired by the previous/original owner.
My intent was rebuild it (I blew the 2.5 liter motor) and give it to my daughter, however, it has cost
me more than I want to put into it. The motor is newly rebuilt and has less than 40 miles on the
rebuild. Runs like a champ, no oil leaks what so ever. It has 4 real good 14" tires with hub caps.
The bad is it is rusting badly on the spare tire well, it needs a proportioning valve for the brakes.
Will need a evaporator for the a/c system and a reseal (I have the gaskets.) and 2 CV Boots
on the outers and a radiator(the rad is new but blew off the drain plug so it can be repaired-long story
and does not involve this car).
I found an 1987 Reliant LE and that came up to speed much faster than this did so she'll get the 87,
hence I'm selling the coupe. I LOVE the coupe, just don't have the time to invest in this project.
I have to rebuild my road runner......
I'm asking $900 or best offer. The motor and "young" transmission are certainly worth that much!
