I want to do an alignment on the 82 convertible. The shop manual gives you the numbers but where do you take the measurements from. There is a line drawn through the center of the Cam bolts but soon as you jack the car up you lose your reference. Any ideas?

On level ground with both frt tire having exactly the same air pres. you can use a level to set camber providing the toe is correct and wheels are straight forward. Caster is none adjustable. Peice of cake.
