performence upgrades

Postby Nachohanson » Mon Oct 20, 2014 3:15 am

Has any one put on a cold air intake?
What size wheels do you guys swap to? The 13in are so hard to get tires for.
Is there a specific vehicle you can swap them from?
Is there a trunk luggage rack that would fit on my 85 reliant.
Sorry for all the questions

Good post K-Car...K-car is correct...The lug pattern is 4x100 which for 85 k models was the last year for the 4 bolt lug patterns...Lebaron,600,400,and New Yorker had 14 inch rims but it's 85 and back for those also...If you like after market wheels the Honda's have a 4x100 lug pattern with high offset that will fit it also..Trunk lid should work all the way up to 88 from the cross reference I have...

Yes it is a 4 bolt pattern. So would I be looking for 14x5 or 5.5. Is there a 15in wheel option?

Back when these cars were new we would install aftermarket trunk racks. you need to find one with the right shape and width rear bar. the rest is spaced out and mounted. A mopar one is better if you are trying to stay original.
