New Here, would like some advice

Hi, i'm new here and i just wanted to know the best way to take care of my car. I have a 1986 Dodge Aires K LE Sedan. I read on some posts about how some of you have been able to get your car to run 30 mpg and i was wondering how i could my car to the maximum mpg. Also i have a knock in my engine and i was wondering if any of you have the same problem?

Welcome,
2.2's have been known to knock. So long as your oil keeps getting changed you should be ok. Basically keep up with the routine maintenance (Oil changes, trans services, timing belts, tune ups, filters) and it should be good. As for fuel economy, keep it in tune, air up the tires to 35 or so and most importantly, drive with a light foot.
