Well,that's the car.
If you are wondering who I am.well here goes nuthin'
I live in Kingston,Ontario ,Canada.
Been here for 20 years, grew up on the beautiful island of Newfoundland.
I work as a service advisor in a busy 16 bay auto service center
Jiffy Auto Service and we are a licenced Goodyear dealer.
Been there for 12 years and counting.
http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Jiffy- ... 8439289722I updated my sig with my rolling hardware,LOL!!
I grew up around cars and trucks. All my family members had Mopars--but my Aunts 68 300 with 440 bit me hard!!
When you're ten years old and get pushed back into the seat when the gas is matted to the floor, and the sound of all four barrels roaring to life, that left a lasting impression on me.
Both my Dad and my Uncle are retired Heavy Duty Diesel mechanics for Irving and Esso, respectively.
Needless to say I hung out,be their wrench monkey, and watched them work on side jobs after hours in the driveway or at their shops.
Both discouraged me to stay away from "a thankless job" but I love the cars, the people, and the service industry.
Sure I did the tire busting, grease monkey thing, and did side jobs for cash.
Although I did not pursue mechanics as a profession,my understanding of the trade along with my people skills made me a perfect candidate to be at the front counter instead of inside the shop.
I love working on my own cars as much as possible.
I think if I did it for a living ,I would not have the passion for cars as much as I do today.
