We had 83 and 86 LeBaron convertibles when they were new but had to sell them when we were shipped back overseas. Now, after several years of my bride wanting one, I surprised her with an 86 Town & Country convertible and she is ecstatic. The car was kept by the Chrysler dealer in NH for over 20 years before it was sold in 2006 to a NH couple. It is in mint condition and hopefully it will stay that way for a while longer. It came with the original window sticker and was fully loaded at nearly $19,000. It also has the original Certificate of Origin and the sleeve that goes over the visor explaining how to properly fold the top when putting it down.
I restore and collect post war Packards but this little car is sweet. I had forgotten how much fun it is to drive compared to a 5,000 pound Packard!
I was wondering if the Woody Registry will be resurrected?
