1984 Town & Country

Postby carajane » Fri Sep 28, 2012 9:53 pm

Hi, I'm Cara, and recently inherited my grandmothers '84 Town & Country wagon. She rarely used it; the car drove essentially from home to the hair salon. My father and I had to do some work on the car, as it had been in storage for 5 years. One of the carburetor valves was sealed shut, thus the car accelerated very slowly. Thankfully it's in working condition now.

There is one thing I need to replace: the AM/FM radio (it's totally dead). But, that's something I can easily find.

Hi Bret. Did you get my email? I emailed you the mechanic referral and the show event details.

Great. If you come, you can come as late as 9:45, as they close the gate at 10.Traffic won't be bad. Your car would be the first New Yorker K-Body ever at one of our shows.

Hi Cara,

Just saw your post on your wagon; I just bought one just like it, and am having trouble identifying the color. My ID tag on the door is faded.

Do you happen to know the color code or name of the color?

Hope you get a smany smiles as I do when you drive it!

In the United States of America, at the biggest K-car show on earth last Saturday, we had 12 K-Cars. Being that we are a small club, events are rare and all the shows are in Los Angeles. We had three TC Wagons at the show from the years 1984, 1985, and 1985. It was awesome.

And Spring 2012 was our historical earthwide record turnout with 23 K-Cars:
