84 lebaron convertible top

i just purchased a 1984 Chrysler Le baron convertible wit 2.2 l engine got at a good price but does need some tlc..
1st-- how can i open top manually till i can get it to a mech,, it has a new top motor makes noise when switch is engaged but wont move up --open i mean..
any help will be great thanks ..I never saw a car with special edition or wheel in back other then a kit..

likely a leak in the lines from the pump to the pistons (just white plastic) the pump rests behind the back seat unsnap the cloth, center of the car.
seperate the tank from the pump (screws at one end) fill the tank and see if the situation changes as the lines charge the tank will need to be filled,
if the oil leaks patch or replace the lines (they get hard over time)
