Hi, Im Ed from South Jersey. I have owned many K-Cars over the years. Currently own this Mint 1990 Plymouth acclaim I purchased inMay 2011 with 19000 Miles from the estate of a 96 yr old lady. It now has 23000 Miles on it. Its still Garaged kept. My wife uses it for her 2 mile daily commute to work. Looking forward to a fun time here on this Forum. Thx Ed

Which engine do you have - 4 cyl 2.5 or 6 cyl. 3.0? The 2.5l is reliable and relatively easy to work on, but the head gasket tend to go. The 3.0 l has alot more power and runs smoother, but the early ones tend to smoke eventually because of design problem with the valve guides. If you still have R12 in the A/C, I recommend you keep it an R12 system.

Its the 2-5L Burgundy in Color. Jersey car all its life. I have owned a few before. I owned a 1994 Acclain in 1999, But my son was Hit Headon in it.[totaled] He was ok. Also Had 2 different K-Cars a 1987 Aires 4dr.. But my Favotite was my 1988 Plymouth Reliant 2dr that I had for many years.
