1983 dodge aries

i just purchased a 1983 dodge aries 4 door with 30,000 miles . The car is in perfect condition, and it just passed emissions in az, hydrocarbons in grams/mile 0.34 on a standard 2.40, carbon monxide in grams/mile 6.23 on a standard 20.00, oxides of nitrogen in grams/mile 1.72 on a standard of 3.50, i was wondering how this matches calif? What do i need to check to keep this car in good shape...will send pictures later thanks

Welcome to the club. That is so awesome, about the Aries. The biggest thing about these cars to watch out for are oil leaks and blown headgaskets. They are aluminum, and when they
do go, they have to be replaced carefully. Sounds like your car passed with flying colors. Is this the Mistubushi engine or the Chrysler one? Talk soon. Remember, Mitsubishi engines need
to be driven, or the carbs gunk up.
