New Bloke from Australia

G'day everyone.
I am in Australia and have been lucky(?) enough to come across a K car which was imported here in 1999. It is of course still LHD.
I am gonna need lots of help and advice with this one if you can bear with me as no K cars here in Australia.
It is and '84 "woody" convertible. Unfortunately it has been very neglected and will need a full resto.
2.6 still runs and it stops, but that's where the good news ends.

Anyway, my first question is about the EVA (yeah, probably least important part of the car).
Was the EVA just in '83 & "84? Or was it on '85 and later as well.
Also was it on Dodge models too (600) or only Chrysler?
Looked at Allpar but can't see answers to my questions.
hoping someone can help.

Thanks, if you can help, and am looking forward to being on the site.
Regards
to all
Gary

Hello Gary. Welcome to the Chrysler K-Car Club. Congratulations on being our first Australian. By the way, you don't have the only K-car. A K-car limo belonging to American
actor Larry Hagman got bought and shipped to Australia earlier this year. I will try to help anyway I can. The EVA was available I think from 1983 onwards. 8-)

Thank you for the welcome. :D
I didn't know about the limo however there is a bloke who lives near me that has bought in 4 K cars - we might have more than you blokes.

He brought in an '82 coupe (still has it)
and an '83 vert (sold)
an '85 or ''86 woody wagon (sold)
and this year an '84 vert.

We didn't get any K cars at all, back in the day, so they are a bit of a novelty down here.

I am looking for some interior parts for my woody, so I am hoping that I can get some help from members on here :?:

Best Regards
Gary

Oh wow Gary. The 82 coupe is nearly extinct in America. Is there anyway you can get in touch with this guy, send him over here, and some pics? Thanks. 8-)
