4 door sedan in Germany

Postby 85MP » Mon Mar 09, 2015 9:52 pm

Hi guys,

I am Hendrik from northern Germany.
Recently I purchased this 1985 Plymouth Reliant. I was hunting this car down until I located in a barn, but that's another story.
Although it doesn't feature a police package it was in service with the US Army Military Police in Europe. Not sure where, I believe Italy or Germany.

It is pretty complet but needs quite some work.

By the way, I am looking for this panel since the one on my car broken:

And at least one wheel center cap without dents would be great.

If you have anything for sale please let me know.
I am in LA next week and could pick up stuff in person and pay cash in SoCal. Will be in Vegas too.

The wheels in the picture would be steel wheels with a center cap, a full size cap could be snapped on over those wheels, could be 13 or 14 inch would need the right size. You can get new plastic aftermarket ones or maybe find a set or used Plymouth or get lucky and find a centercap. The car looks great

Thanks for your feedback!

In the meantime I visited the US for vacation and purchased quite some tune-up parts for the Reliant and my other cars.
I am amazed how low the prices for those parts are (bought them at Rockauto.com). Maintaining a K-car costs almost nothing!

Not much... until you start getting into the complicated computer controlled vacuum assisted 2.6. That's when things get a little tricky, tight, fiddly, and expensive... Unless you pick up a good one.
