How to Bleed the cooling system properly

Postby RespecttheLebaron » Thu Apr 18, 2013 2:03 am

First post here, hello. My little brother just got his first car, a 1986 Lebaron Convertible 2.2 TBI. After about a week of driving, the old worn out radiator developed a seam leak so I decided it was best to replace it, just before the car was bought it had a new thermostat, hoses, and coolant installed. But the radiator wasn't replaced. Today I helped him replace the Radiator and coolant, but I couldn't figure out how to properly bleed the system. Do I loosen the allen heads by the thermostat or do I "burp" the radiator, or is there a different way I don't know about? Any help is appreciated.
