Non-ES 600 Turbo??

Did they really make such a thing? I thought the only way to get a Turbo engine in a 600 ragtop was to get the ES package, but sure enough take a look at this:

A turbocharged version of the 2.2 L engine was also added as an option in 1984, providing a much-needed increase in power output (up to 142 hp).

hmm...not sure on this one. check the vin number and see what it comes out to be, maybe its an ES and its been repainted, and they forgot to put the badges back on.

The car linked in the original post is NOT an ES. Know how you can tell? Look at the dash. If it was an ES, it would have the electronic/digital instrument panel. There were 3 engines available in 1986 for the Dodge 600s. The standard 2.2, the 2.2 Turbo, and the 2.5. The 2.2 Turbo was standard on the 600 ES, and optional on all other models. The 2.5 was optional on all models.

no, cause I have a non-ES '86 600 convertable that says Premium.
that is a nice 600 but has the same problem mine has-no white wall tires

There are a lot of other ways you can tell it's not an ES too:

-no power windows
-no leather seats (vinyl instead)
-no black doorhandles (chrome)
-no black windshield surround (chrome)
-no ES wheels

My ES says it takes regular gas btw.
