Complaining about the Gov destroying engines

Postby Butch » Wed Aug 05, 2009 6:01 am

While I'm totally fed up with this subject ( even my nephew bent my ear about it ) it occured to me while at the yard today. 99% of the cars there still had engines in them, these ARE available to buy but no one is buying them. Bare in mind that some of these are there because they were traded in and wholesaled to the yards. Others, out standing tickets etc.etc. So they may be good engines still. They get destroyed because NOBODY bought them. There are also other means of buying engines as well, rebuilding companies, private parties etc. So if eveyone who has their panties in a bunch over this.....go buy an engine. Quit SNIVELING.

I've started collecting whatever 2.2 and 2.5 setups that I can get my hands on. If nothing else, I have scored a tranny for my '94 Voyager with less than 70K on it, from a van that was turned in for this idiotic program.
