'87 New Yorker needs a big bandaid

Postby mastersheen » Wed Aug 12, 2009 4:37 pm

I Have or did have a near mint condition '87 New Yorker 2.2 turbo with only about 50k miles. Last year someone running a red light swerved and hit me on the front end  then lied to the cop after a year long battle we decided to cut our losses and drop the case. I still have this beautifull car but I do not know what to do with it. At this time I can not afford to fix it (about $1500) The whole Back end is still good along with the interior I feel it is still worth a lot more than what I could sell it for as Junk.

I am not sure what to do with it as this time because if it sits much longer well you know!! I am open to all any suggestions

Thanks for opening up this board to me and have a great day.

Do you have any pictures of the car so people can get an idea of the extent of the damage you are talking about? Might help.

Thats a shame that happened to you mastersheen!! And I can understand about not having the extra money to repair it too.

Is it still driveable? or not........
