successfully eliminated 99% here in Southern California. I don't know understand why. I am always able to find late 70s Ford LTDs and Mercury Marquis's. The 1983-1987 Ford LTDs and Mercury Marquis are still findable. 87-91 models are still spottable a few times a week. I only saw ONE 79-82 LTD and it was a dead car. I also only saw two links to sales of them in California in ONE year. I can always bank on finding some rare early 80s GM econobox, but I can never find these beautiful big Fords between 79-82. I can still find a fox body for those years. Long question short, what caused the 79-82 LTD to practically disappear forever around here? Puzzled.
