I have found that 1981 Motor Trend Magazines had a wealth of new K car info. The April issue had the K car as "Car of the Year", lots of good material, as well as neat reading on other long gone cars. I bought the entire '81 set cheap on ebay, some even had the little cards that fell out for people to enter to win a new K car. Just got a set of '80 Motor Trends, they also have alot of K info in the fall copies. Plan to show my restored '81 R at local shows next year, plan to have some nice car show type signage with all sorts of cool '81 stuff

Wow, neat!!

I only have pages out of the 1980 September issue (viva Ebay!) - the Plymouth Reliant road test, K-car styling etc...

I know there was also an article later on in the same magazine called "One year later" or smth. like that, I'd have loved to read that one!
