"It takes time to build a business". Toyota was willing to loose money on every Prius for five years as they built the brand awareness and is now reaping giant profits on its hybrid cars from Toyota and Lexus lines. New technology is expensive until volume catches up. GM should have known this. This car should have been brought out under the Cadillac brand to justify the pricing, after all, isn't Cadillac there technology leader anyway? Instead they are raping the government and us.
