OVERHEATING SAVER TIP

This is a tip I picked up on my own by trial and error, I've had more then a few 2.2 & 2.5L over the years that have run a bit too much on the hot side due to many different reasons. If you remove your thermostat and take a 1/8" drill bit and drill a hole through the edge of the thermostat before the edge that seats into the thermostat housing. When you reinstall your thermostat "clock" it so the hole is at the bottom (this way the air will escape upward and this is a great idea for those who cannot remove the plug above the thermostat housing to bleed the trapped air) This has worked for me and will keep your cooling system consistant and you gauge from wildly flutuating. However do not use in colder climates below 40 degree F
