1976: The Gumball Rally - good precursor to the Cannonball Run movies
1981: Condorman - james bond meets batman, a speed freak's dream and its family friendly
1986: The Wraith - 2.2 mid engine dodge turbo interceptor and an early production 87 shelby z T2 daytona
1989: Speed Zone - best of the Cannonball Run themed movies and features John Candy and Eugene Levy
1996: Thunderbolt - Jackie Chan meets Tokyo Drift meets Days of Thunder

all these movies are great, but Speed Zone is not legally available on dvd yet, so check ebay for used vhs copies. i haven't seen it in years as the local movie rental place got rid of the more unique movies over a decade ago (1990's Captain America comes to mind)
