Final CKCC Dues Guidelines and Purpose.

Postby 89ARIES » Wed Dec 17, 2014 7:00 am

Folks,

For those six or seven people, I can't count right now, thank-you for your dues. It is much appreciated and will help ensure that the Chrysler K-Car Club will be around for some time to come. I am still hoping more of our membership will step forward. Now, I want to clarify the dues, so our membership base doesn't feel the need to vent or flee.

First, membership dues are mandatory and necessary for this organization to thrive. I do everything, and no organization can survive with one indispensable person. We also can't accumulate a savings to do any of the historical preservation that a car club is supposed to do.

Purpose of the CKCC Dues:
1. Protect the K-car from being crushed.
2. Prevent the K-car from being abused.
3. Preserve the K-car for future generations.
----and to that end are all the club activities, car shows, website, newsblog, social media sites,
car club license plate frames, membership ID Cards, dash stickers, CKCC Store, and club
t-shirts. Monies will be accumulated to rescue cars and eventually build a museum.
4. Finalization of our Non-Profit 501(c) Corporation
5. Establishment of a Board of Directors, to be finalized January 2015.

CKCC Dues Guidelines: $20 per K-car owner per year for "full" membership in the CKCC. Non-payment of dues makes a person a browser. Most members of California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Arizona need to submit these no later than 1 January 2015. All new members that join have 30 days from the day I send the welcome email to them to pay the dues.

CKCC Dues Exemptions.
1. Those I consider avid supporters.
2. K-car designers and mechanics.
3. Sellers
4. Those without a K-car.

CKCC Dues Exemptions for 2016.
1. Those I consider avid supporters.
2. Those that attend Spring Fling 2015 (National K-Car Meet) .
3. K-car designers and mechanics.
4. Sellers.
5. Those without a K-car.

Consquences of non-payment of 2015 Dues or dues upon joining the CKCC.
1. Status to be reduced to that of a CKCC Browser.
2. Member's contact will be retained on membership roster unless he or she
specifically asks to be removed.
3. Member will be b.c.ed on club activities and updates.
4. Direct communication to the president regarding a need or his personal time
will be established once the dues are paid, to include repair assistance.
