FANTASTIC FRIDAY!!!

Postby 89ARIES » Sat Dec 06, 2014 8:40 am

What a fantastic car filled night tonight with many blessings.
1. I got my 1989 Dodge Aries back today with 240,000 miles back with a
brand new converter. Passed California smog with flying colors,
in fact the best smog readings since I even got the car in 2003.
High miles, imperfect compression, and runs great. It was a legal
smog test.
2. Jesus Corral, my mechanic, ordered me and the crew hot chocolate and donuts.
3. I went to Bobs Big Boy in Burbank, where they normally have the Friday cruise night. I ended up in the middle of a Christmas-Holiday vendors display with a parade.
4. A collector named Barry brought out ten of his forty-seven restored police cars. These were all LAPD historical replicas, some authentic originals. They looked brand spanking new. They included a 1989 Ford Crown Vic, Two 80s Chevy Caprices, a 78 Monaco, two 70s AMC
Matadors, a 68 Fury Wagon LAPD, and a 52 Dodge. All blared their sirens driving down Riverside Drive. All Black/white squad cars.
5. The original authentic Batmobile from the Batman TV Series of 1966 was on display, was driven, and was at the Bobs Big Boy.
6. Had dinner at Pattys of Toluca Lake.
7. There was a giant Christmas Carolers Semi Truck smothered in white holiday lights with over 100 santa clauses singing. The truck was spraying soap bubbles to resemble snow.
8. There were makeshift choirs on the streets singing.
9. There were re-anactors representing the American War for Independence and Scottish bagpipe players.
10. Multiple businesses were giving out free food, samples, and holiday treats.
11. When I got back to Bobs Big Boy, I ran into my friend June.
12. There was a gold 1985 Dodge 600 SE Convertible at the Bobs.
13. I stayed up late getting ready for tommorrow and reporting today. Junkyard tommorrow, movie matinee and meet Sunday. Be there aloha!
