Is passing smog cheap with right sources?

Is passing smog cheap with right sources?

Since my car is now almost a gross polluter, would a new cat chop half the emissions, or would I have to do a $1000 tune-up. California reduced emissions
passing limits 35% in May and almost flunked my car. They WILL do this again and then no car will pass smog in 2013, unless we fight it. Example. Avg passing
NO is 21 and limit was reduced from 121 to 89. They will probably reduce it to 50 in 2013 and then we are all doomed.

Don't worry. They will give in to the collectors. They might restrict your anual miles but they are not going to ban old cars. They represent such a small percentage of the cars on the road. Jay Leno has a very poweful forum in which to voice his opposition. You have to understand, they say this every time, then back off from us collectors. You'll see. Just let your voice be heard.
