so far every weekend has been either hot or rainy, well today I finely made it out to a show, the roads were a little wet but not to bad, while going down main street, I spotted a 1983 Dodge 400 convertable black with red interior, really nice car, I was looking it over with a fine tooth comb, no rust at all, just a few dings, but then I opened the hood.. and soon as I saw the plagued JAP POS 2.6 I closed the hood and got in my 2.2 liter K and went to the show, It feels good knowing that I have the 2.2 engine. anyways onward to the show, I told my friend last week to bring his 1988 buick park avenue, with 53,000 miles. the cars that I was up against were as follows, 1987 blowsmobile (oldsmobile) 442 1986 Crapolet (chevrolet) monte carlo s.s, my friends 88 buick park avenue, and of course my 1981 Reliant, The judges were really impressed with the car and called it a survivor, infact the judging was so close that they came a second time around to look at the car, in the end it was My reliant and I and the oldsmobile. Gas mileage also improved from 20 to 25.5 then when I got home I knew why, the airhose that connects from the computer to the airbox came off..
but all in all good day
