Dodge 600 Convertible tops

Postby JoeWillo » Sat Mar 14, 2015 12:19 am

Hello Chrysler K-Car Club, I have a 1985 Dodge 600 Convertible that I rescued in Cincinnati, Ohio, last year and I am in need of some info for replacement parts. The car only has 86,000 miles on it and I have replaced a majority of mechanical items already. Now I am concentrating on 3 main components; the top, calipers, and windshield wiper motor and mechanism. My quandary is where is the most reliable yet affordable place I should be looking for replacement parts. I am going to replace these items myself but I want to make sure these are the correct parts that will install with the least amount of hassle. I am also looking for any tips from anyone who has replaced their top for this model. Anyways, any help would be much appreciated and I thank you very much in advance.

Hi Joe, I have a 1985 Dodge 600 Convertible that also needs the top and the hydraulics replaced. Here are some links I have been watching on eBay (but am too poor to afford at the moment):

As far as calipers go, I assume you mean brake calipers? You should be able to find those and the wiper motor on RockAuto.com. I recommend getting A-1 Cardone brand parts whenever possible.

Hope this helps. Good Luck! Chris Pope
